Famous Writers Shirtless: Robert Pinsky

A fleeting internet meme happened of writers in underpants--but it passed too quickly to be truly appreciated.

So, occasionally we'll post some literary beefcake for your perusal.

Today: Robert Pinsky

The last time an American poet was this jacked, Walt Whitman was wearing a wide-brimmed fedora and a pirate shirt.

It's like Tom Cruise, circa 1983, grew four inches and time-warped to the '60s. Someone strike up the Bob Seger and wax down that board.

Everyone knows the most insightful poetry comes from behind a pair of Ray-Bans.
