12-year old has a bigger book deal than you, you, you, you--yup, even you over there in the corner--you, you, and me combined.

Quvenzhané Wallis, the 12-year old actress who was the youngest ever to be nominated for an Oscar when she was 9-years old for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild, has just signed a four book deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster as part of their Books for Young Readers division.

She's 12-years old. Four book deal.

When I was 12, I was busy eating way too many Little Debbie snack cakes and guzzling Kool-Aid by the gallons.

I like to keep expectations low.
