Massachusetts couple sets up a mini library on their front lawn.

Peggy Schwartz bought her husband, Murray, a 'mini library' for $400 as a 70th birthday gift, and installed it on their front lawn in Amherst, MA. The couple tells the Daily Hampshire Gazette they were inspired by friends in a neighboring town who also have their own free mini library. The Gazette goes on to claim the free mini library trend started in Wisconsin two years ago.

Or, you know--there's this guy in the Philippines who started something similar a decade earlier.

Everything good from Wisconsin comes from the Philippines. We all know this.
