complicit /kəmˈplisit/ adjective:
      --involved with others in an illegal activity or wrongdoing.


Ivanka Trump was interviewed on 60 Minutes the other day and said, "I don't know what it means to be complicit."

While not necessarily considered an obscure word, Merriam-Webster has seen 'complicit' spike in its search terms.



Words. Words are hard. They're complicit in making us sound dense sometimes.
