Today:  Neal Cassady

Beatnik Neal Cassady had a little five-finger discount in his blood and enjoyed stealing cars as a youth, reportedly snatching upwards of 500 sweet rides between the ages of 14-21.

In 1944, at the age of 18, Cassady was popped by Denver police and spent a little time in the big house to cool his heals.

Apparently the city of Denver attempted to strangle those they arrested during mugshots.
