Computer game tries to teach computer coding to preschoolers, because the English language is kind of lame (?).

NPR reports about about one man's quest to create a 'game' for preschoolers that teaches them the fundamentals on how to code computer programs
. The reasoning of Dan Shapiro (the man behind the game):

"What would it be like if there was a way to write programs that had nothing to do with the English language? Ever since we got away from flipping switches [to interact with computers], we have been expressing programming languages in English. That's not a foregone conclusion," Shapiro tells NPR.

Phew! (((wipes forehead))) I was worried preschoolers might actually learn the fundamentals of English--but, hey, tell me more, Shapiro!

As Shapiro's Kickstarter page states:
"Pretty soon your kids will figure out the secret of Robot Turtles: it lets the kids control the grownups! The little programmers put instruction cards down, driving the turtles through the maze, but the grownup is the computer, executing commands on the board. At its heart, Robot Turtles is a game about bossing around adults."

Shouldn't be much different than how preschoolers already act.
