Gina Rinehart is the world's richest woman, and recently she had some advice published in an Australian magazine article on how to become rich. Get the steno pad and a pen ready, because you'll want to jot this down:
"If you're jealous of those with more money, don't just sit there and complain. Do something to make more money yourself--spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working."
More...time...working--got it!
Indeed, advice from Rinehart might seem valuable since she is a self-made billionaire. Mind you, she first inherited only a measly $75 million from her mining mogul father, which she then invested wisely enough over 20 years to become a billionaire.
So, see, you need to work harder to become a millionaire. Work harder at getting inside the right womb to be born out so you can invest. Don't let those little underdeveloped fetal legs become an excuse from trudging into a millionaire womb.
Please continue, Gina:
"The millionaires and billionaires who choose to invest in Australia are actually those who most help the poor and our young. This secret needs to be spread widely."
[[Pssst]] I'll let you in on another little secret. You know that Mother Teresa lady who lived a destitute lifestyle feeding the hungry and providing to the dying? Total deadbeat. Maybe if she was a millionaire she could have bought a dead person a proper cardboard box to be buried in, amiright?? She just didn't work hard enough.
Gina, please, more advice:
"There is no monopoly on becoming a millionaire."
That's right. All those single moms who work three jobs to support their kid? Just not making an effort. I think we all know that those 18hr days at various employers is just a ruse to avoid becoming wildly financially successful.
