Kate Middleton is single-handedly keeping the magazine industry afloat.

And Pippa? Do we even need to mention Pippa?

Turns out people love magazines when they're devoted to British royalty. This is great news for magazines writing only about B grade celebrities, like People.

According to AdWeek, the royal wedding generated $31 million in extra revenue for magazines. This pales in comparison to when Michael Jackson died. That generated $67 million. But the King of Pop had a kingdom that included not only Great Britain, but many insane asylums and halfway houses as well. As a magazine, you take what you can get.

And what you get are exposés on Pippa Middleton and barely there dresses. Which I, for one, think are critically important.

And, yes, Prince Harry's supposed nickname of "Commando" for Pippa is entirely with merit if you ask me. I mean, come on now. Let's be sensible here. The laws of physics have to apply somewhere along the line.
