Bart Simpson's teacher, Mrs. Krabappel, died last week. Rather, the voice of Mrs. Krabappel--actress Marcia Wallace--died last week. In a quick turnaround, last night's episode of The Simpsons offered a quick shoutout to Mrs. K during the opening credits.
Wallace was the voice of everyone's favorite stressed teacher from 1990 until her death, a period in which she appeared in over 100 episodes. She was 70-years old.
