Okay, so it's not about writing necessarily. But maybe it counts as education.

SPACE SHUTTLE ENDEAVOUR FINAL LAUNCH from Northern Lights on Vimeo.

With the space shuttle Atlantis currently whisking its way around Earth on the final space shuttle flight ever--here's a video put together through NASA and director Chase Heavener of shuttle Endeavour's own final flight in May.

Four cameras. Two aiming down, two aiming up, attached to the solid rocket boosters. The video is unedited, and lasts 5:27, from the moment of liftoff until the rocket boosters land back in the ocean. (And best seen at full view on your computer screen.)

Use the video for perspective. For inspiration. For imagination. For something. Feel invigorated or feel small. Write a poem--or, probably for the best, don't.

Sometimes it's good to just feel small, and leave it at that.
