Even your Twitter refuses to pronounce the letter R.

Do you think you lack a Boston accent despite saying things like The Red Sawx ahh gonna play wicked hahd this season? Great news then! Everyone on Twitter thinks you're delusional.

According to a study by Carnegie Mellon University, Twitter users have regionally distinct ways of tweeting. Some findings?

-- Southern California people write coo in place of cool, while northern California locals write koo.

-- New Yorkers say OD when they mean very, while Californians write hella. (Paging Gwen Stefani...)

-- New Yorkers tweet uu when they mean you.

-- U is used in place of you in most other locales.

-- People living in urban locations tend to write yu instead of you at much higher rates than rural or suburban people.

As you can see, that third character for a word is just asking way too much in life. Y-O-U? Your index finger or thumb might get early-onset arthritis if you type that much.
