You, too, can enjoy everything wonderful about ingesting nearly two pounds of crab-covered pretzel.

To feed the masses at their college football games this season, the University of Maryland has created a subtle bit of indulgence in the form of a 1.5lb pretzel smothered in crab, cheese, and Olde Bay seasoning. As Foodspin notes, when you add all that together, you're looking at a 2lb snack.

The university's press release claims the pretzel is supposed to serve four, which is startling because it's apparent the university has no idea they're located in the United States. This light repast is America's version of tapas.

Called 'Chessie' by the school--a name channeling everything wonderful about the Chesapeake Bay and the Loch Ness Monster into one--the pretzel retails for $17.50, future angioplasty not included.
