The new high school principal at Everett, MA, Eric Naumann, created a spoof video to show on the first day of classes for the winter semester. In it, he portrays a terminator from 'Terminator 2,' complete with a frantic Linda Hamilton screaming while doing her best lobster crawl.
The point of the video was to be loose, to give a little nudge at being full of "law and order" while having a sense of humor.
Parents didn't see it that way, many claiming it instilled fear after the Sandy Hook tragedy in December. Neither did the local school superintendent, Fred Forestiter, find it humorous, who told Boston news station WHDH, "[Naumann used] poor judgment."
Now Naumann has a special school committee meeting tonight to decide his employment with the school.
If Naumann knows what's good for him, he stands in front of the school committee and says "I'll be back" in a staccato, Austrian-English accent. Go big or go home.
