Donald J. Sobol: 1924-2012

Donald J. Sobol, the writer of countless of Encyclopedia Brown kids' detective books, died today at the age of 87.

"Whatsa Encyclopedia Brown?" you ask. "Is that like a cousin of Britannica?"

And that sort of talk is what probably killed Sobol.
